Goho’s 7th Birthday Party: How to Create an Unforgettable Event Experience in London
Celebrating seven years in the industry, we wanted to do what we do best… bringing people together and create an event to remember. Last week, we marked Goho’s 7th birthday with our clients, partners, and friends, and it was nothing short of unforgettable!
If you’re an event organiser in London looking for inspiration, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how we delivered a high-energy, immersive experience that kept guests talking long after the night ended.
We hosted our birthday at Poolhouse, during its very first week of opening (très exclusive)!
Located just outside Liverpool Street, Poolhouse is a next-generation games bar featuring AI-powered pool tables. While the tables look classic, the experience is anything but. State-of-the-art projection technology transforms gameplay into immersive, interactive group experiences.
From the moment guests arrived, the focus was on energy, interaction, and seamless hosting.
We kept things simple but effective:
Free-flowing cocktails, drinks, and food 🍸
Interactive gaming to break the ice 🎱
A lively, social atmosphere designed for connection 🤝
No Goho event is complete without a signature goody bag… and we made sure ours delivered real value.
Our curated selection included:
Beanie Coffee instant coffee ☕️
Grace & Stella eye masks 👀
Anatomicals body scrub 🧼
Agua de Madre kefir water 💧
Ben & Anna natural deodorant 💐
Peachaus postcards 🍑
LOVE CORN snacks 🌽
Collins Debden wellness journals 📝
If Lost Start Here planners 📓
To add another layer of interaction, we hosted a raffle in support of Kent Search and Rescue Dogs! And it quickly became one of the most competitive moments of the night.
Prizes included:
A luxury beauty box from Anatomicals
A Champagne Afternoon Tea for two at The Bloomsbury
A 2-night luxury hotel stay at a hotel by the Italian Hospitality Collection.
2 VIP tickets to The Magicians Table… with free cocktails!
A full Poolhouse night out for six
And even Harry Styles tickets 🎤
From an event planning and PR perspective, this celebration delivered on multiple fronts:
Experiential venue that encouraged interaction
Strong brand partnerships for added value
Built-in content opportunities for social sharing
Engagement-led activities like games and raffles
Clear atmosphere and audience focus
