Key Challenges:
With COVID19 and social distancing regulations in place, the event had to be held virtually.
The birthday fell on ‘world gin day’ meaning availability was limited with key suppliers.
Our Approach:
With social distancing around for the foreseeable future, we needed to find a different way for our clients to connect with their friends and family. To do so, we created a range of events that give clients the opportunity to spend time with their nearest and dearest, without leaving their homes. Our client wanted to organise a private virtual event that was special to them but without having to join another group.
We made sure to provide our client with the perfect supplier, so we took the brief and used our little black book of contacts to help find the right micro-distillery. We had to act quickly to ensure the invites were sent, the guests were available and most importantly, that the gin had time to arrive.
The Results:
Successfully delivered an online virtual gin tasting for 20 people.
“I would definitely recommend the Goho Virtual Drink Tasting Service. It was such a good laugh, we all learned something and it was a great alternative to the usual virtual pub quiz! Despite nearly 20 people typing questions which could have been pretty hectic, Danny was a great sport and led the event well. The gins were also just so delicious - I loved that we had a tasting session and then a full gin and tonic to end. I think my favourite was the New York gin but the negroni was also amazing! Obviously we’d have loved to be in the same place but a virtual celebration is definitely better than none. The virtual event did mean that more people turned up who may not have been able to otherwise, due to childcare arrangements for example, or having to travel back home.
The gins were delicious, Goho were great...of course I would recommend them!”
