The Client:

Chelmsford Fringe festival are an arts and culture festival based in Essex. In 2022 they expanded from the previous year’s single day event to a 10-day festival that spans across the city, and across the arts. From theatre to short films, they showcased a wide range of talent and art suitable for the whole family

The Brief:

Chelmsford Fringe Festival were looking for support with managing their social media feeds leading up to the festival, in order to promote the activities, spread the word within the local area, and sell tickets to events.

Our Approach:

We created a full marketing strategy outlining the aims and objectives of the festival. We liaised with their design team and event organisers to ensure a coherent message and appearance across all aspects of promotion.

The Results:

We created, posted and engaged with regular content, promoting the schedule and drawing people towards the website and tickets.This included daily engagement with target audiences, interacting in local groups, and responding to messages and comments across all channels.  We also ran short paid campaigns for target events to maximise and concentrate ad spend where it mattered.

Over the campaign we grew platforms by:
