IFS Case Study
Events
The Client
IFS is a global leader in enterprise software, enabling organisations to deliver at their best when it matters most: the Moment of Service. With innovation and forward-thinking at its core, IFS sought to host a stand-out experience for guests attending DSEI 2025, one of the world’s largest defence and security exhibitions.
The Brief
DSEI is an intense, high-energy environment: days filled with meetings, showcases, and industry discussions. IFS wanted to offer something different once the conference floor closed, a moment to step away, unwind, and connect more personally.
The vision was clear: an exclusive evening that balanced inspiration with relaxation. A space for meaningful conversation, set against a backdrop that reflected the innovative spirit of IFS. Goho was entrusted with bringing this to life in a two-hour event that would leave a lasting impression.
Our Approach
We reimagined the IFS Cloud Cable Car Terminal as an elegant sanctuary, part networking lounge, part storytelling stage, and part skyline experience. Every element was designed to help guests shift gears, relax, and connect.
The Journey — Cable Car Ride
Guests began their evening by boarding the IFS Cloud Cable Cars, welcomed with refined drinks and delicate nibbles.
Suspended above the Thames, they experienced a rare sense of calm after a demanding day, trading London’s frenetic pace for sweeping skyline views and unhurried conversation in the sky.
The Event — South Terminal Lounge
On arrival, guests entered a beautifully styled lounge of cream sofas, armchairs, and purple accents echoing the IFS brand.
To encourage relaxation and playfulness, zen rock-stacking stations offered a mindful touch, easing the transition from conference intensity to evening calm.
A grazing table of artisan cheese and charcuterie, complemented by a fully serviced bar of fine wines, craft beers, and soft drinks, kept conversation flowing, while a live acoustic guitarist provided a warm and welcoming soundtrack.
Inspiration on Stage
The evening opened with a welcome from Max Roberts, COO of IFS, who set the tone for connection and forward-thinking discussion.
The highlight of the night came from Mandy Hickson, former RAF fighter pilot, whose keynote on leadership, courage, and resilience struck a powerful chord with the audience and aligned seamlessly with IFS’s values.
The Results
The IFS Cable Car Event struck the perfect balance: stylish yet relaxed, inspiring yet restorative. Guests arrived straight from the intensity of DSEI and were met with an atmosphere that encouraged meaningful conversation, reflection, and connection.
The unique combination of skyline views, live music, thoughtful details, and a keynote of substance transformed a networking event into a memorable experience.
This marks the second successful collaboration between Goho and IFS at the Cable Car Terminal, reinforcing the venue’s potential as a stage for extraordinary brand moments.
