Phenom Leadership Retreat at Lugano
Immediately following the I AM PHENOM conference event in Munich, we delivered a five-day cultural and exclusive retreat in Lugano, Switzerland for Phenom’s VIP guests, designed as an internal leadership conference. Our team arrived a day ahead of the group to oversee all deliveries, conduct full run-throughs, and ensure every detail was in place.
On Saturday, we welcomed guests at Milan Malpensa Airport with Phenom-branded signage, guiding them seamlessly onto the train to Lugano. From there, a private coach transferred guests to Villa Castagnola, the conference hotel and main event hub, while individual car transfers were arranged for those with separate travel needs. By midday, a drop-in activation was live in the hotel lobby, allowing guests to personalise their luggage with a local renowned graffiti artist. The evening began with a welcome reception in a private hotel space, featuring traditional Swiss horn players. Guests were even invited to try to play the horns themselves! There was also live piano music, canapés, and a standing dinner centred around an artisanal Swiss cheese display, setting the tone for the rest of the culturally immersive retreat.
Sunday opened with a 15-minute guided meditation overlooking Lake Lugano, followed by conference sessions across fully equipped breakout rooms. After a full day of meetings, guests were taken to Vineyard Mancucchetto for a private winery tour and three-course dinner.
On Monday, the conference continued during the day, before an evening at Grotto della Salute, a traditional Ticino restaurant serving Michelin-quality rustic cuisine.
Tuesday’s finale began at Lugano’s main pier, where guests boarded a private boat accompanied with a live saxophone player. After dinner and wine at the Grotto, guests returned by boat for a lantern-release ceremony (which required liaising with Swiss Air Traffic control to green light sky lanterns to be set off over the lake) , followed by a DJ-led party on the lake to close the experience on a high note.
The event welcomed 50 attendees.
