Brand Champions is a female-founded marketing consultancy, whose founder recognised the need for flexibility in the workplace after her own journey returning to work after maternity leave. With over four years of operational excellence and a diverse team boasting a cumulative 200 years of client-side experience within the Travel and Pharmaceutical sectors, Brand Champions is uniquely positioned to tackle complex marketing challenges.

The Brief: 

Brand Champions chose us to help raise their profile through strategic media coverage, and position Brand Champions as the top-of-mind provider and experts in the SOS marketing services offering. Their ultimate goal was to drive awareness among marketing professionals in their targeted sectors of travel, FMCG and pharmaceuticals, and acquire new clients by building visibility and credibility.

Our Approach:

We kicked off the partnership with a comprehensive strategy phase, diving deep into the brand’s positioning, audience, and competitors. We also identified relevant media targets, key calendar moments, and clear success metrics.

We became an extension of the Brand Champions team, staying closely connected through regular updates on news, client wins, case studies, and new hires. By getting to know the founder personally, we were able to craft and pitch her story authentically and effectively, securing meaningful media opportunities that resonated with the brand’s ethos.

Throughout the campaign, we developed and distributed timely press releases, highlighting key new hires, business milestones, and relevant thought leadership around cultural moments like International Women’s Day. We also built a targeted media list and consistently engaged with top-tier journalists to ensure strong and sustained visibility.

In addition, we worked closely with the founder over a focused short-term period to enhance her personal LinkedIn, optimising her content and profile to generate leads and build her network.

In the first year of our campaign (from October 2023 and October 2024), we secured:
