Mental Health Awareness Month GoShow - Re Place Wellness Studio
Make it stand out
This May, for Mental Health Awareness Month, we headed down to Re Place Wellness Studio in Notting Hill to try out one of their signature treatments: the Body Roller. As a busy agency team constantly glued to our screens (and our group chat), we thought it was the perfect excuse to hit pause, reset, and show ourselves a bit of TLC - Goho style.
So what is it?
If you’re looking for a treatment that combines relaxation, movement, and real results - Body Rolling at Re Place Studio in Notting Hill ticks every box. Think lymphatic massage meets gentle workout, with you in control the entire time.
Tucked just off Westbourne Grove, Re Place is a calm, minimalist sanctuary - the kind of setting where you instantly feel healthier just stepping through the door. We went to check out their Body Roller treatment as part of our Mental Health Awareness Month reset, and let’s just say, we had no idea we’d be literally rolling our stress away.
Roll with it
Each of us was shown to our own futuristic-looking wooden roller machine, complete with glowing infrared lights and a screen showing exactly how to move.
You guide your body through different positions that target every part - arms, legs, bum, hips and stomach - and let the rollers do their magic. There's lymphatic drainage, muscle relief, and even a bit of core engagement if you're feeling brave.
The best part? You’re totally in control - adjusting speed, intensity, and position depending on what your body needs. It’s like a full-body massage, light workout, and moment of mindfulness all rolled into one (pun 100% intended).
First impressions
We had questions. Would it be painful? Would we look ridiculous? Were we about to discover joints we didn’t know could click?
Luckily, the team at Re Place were super helpful, and once we got going, it felt super satisfying - like foam rolling but with 100x more benefits and way less effort. By the time we were 10 minutes in, we’d already swapped "What is this?!" for “Can we do this every week?”
The vibe
We went as a team, and it honestly became a form of group therapy. We walked out feeling lighter, looser, and way less tense than when we walked in.
The glow was real, something about the combo of infrared heat, circulation boost and actual relaxation made us feel like we’d just had a full spa day.
The experience
The entire session lasts around 45 minutes and is self-led (with plenty of guidance available if you're new). It’s suitable for all fitness levels, especially those of us who sit hunched over laptops and phones most of the day. Which, let’s be honest, is basically all of us.
It’s not just a “treat yourself” moment - it’s actually good for your body. Think reduced water retention, less bloating, better circulation, improved digestion, and stress release.
GoShow verdict: Should you try out Re Place?
Absolutely. Body Rolling at Re Place Studio is a brilliant way to switch off, reset, and give your body (and mind) some much-needed attention.
If you're looking for a team wellness activity that goes beyond the usual after-work drinks, this is a great way to bond while doing something genuinely good for your mental health - especially during May, for Mental Health Awareness Month.
