Will Live Events Be Back This Summer?

We’ve been getting lots of enquiries asking if we will be putting on live events this summer, and the short answer is yes. (Government guidelines permitting of course). So, as long as Boris, and his roadmap keep their cool, stay on track and the R rate keeps fallin’, then we’re back in the game, literally (Do we hear sports hospitality, anyone)?

You may be looking for a way to treat your clients who have been stuck indoors for over a year, you might want a swanky away day for your team to finally get some of that face-to-face time that sparks creativity and camaraderie, or you might want to have a mini staycation with your better half.

Whatever it is you want to achieve, we have a little black book of the best suppliers and venues to make your event or gathering go perfectly. Rooftop Venues

From May 17th we’ll see the return of the rule of 6 in outdoor spaces, this gives you the opportunity to hold some intimate client or team events at some absolutely mind-blowing venues. It doesn’t have to be rooftop, but nothing blows the lockdown cobwebs away like sipping a cold glass of bubbly while the sun sets over a beautiful London skyline. 

Karma Sanctum Soho, Yauatcha City and The Angler are all absolute faves of ours, but the Pavillion Penthouse at the Dorchester is the icing on the cake, you absolutely need to hold your summer event there, trust us. 

Live Music

You’ve heard that Reading and Leeds have confirmed they’re going ahead, but we’re still not sure that festivals will return this summer. Live music however sure will.  Why not book a box at the O2, Birmingham or Manchester Arena and treat your clients to a night out they won’t have had before. With dedicated seats, your own food and drinks served in the box, and your own area to dance in, you can make sure you’re not mixing with others and get the best seats in the house. We work with the best hospitality providers to ensure you get the full VIP treatment, at a price that won’t break the bank. We can even sort a champagne cruise across the Thames on the Emirates Air Line, or a guided climb across the O2 Dome itself before the gig. Team-building

On the sporting vein there are lots of options that don't include going to a field or stadium, what about starting your very own sports day in a local park, complete with a luxury picnic. Or head to Flight Club where you can have your own private bar within their venue, and a digital darts tournament. The Goho team did this last year and loved it.

Drive-in Cinema

Drive-in Cinemas will be back this Summer, and they’ll be even better than before, with more entertainment on the grounds, better sound and screens (Well they had last year’s mistakes to learn from) and the food will be banging. They also offer a fantastic opportunity for corporate events as you can book out a whole evening solely for your crew. Everything can be branded as you’d like and we can even organise a mini funfair and games to support the vibe. We think we’ll be seeing a lot of Grease themed Company Summer parties.

Al-fresco

This summer is gonna be all about al fresco, as we ease back into social closeness again people are going to want to be outdoors, and they’re gonna want lots of space. Searcys, Aqua and The Lighterman are some of our favourite venues that offer both these things, some also offer bottomless drinks packages and touch-free bento boxes if that’s what floats your boat.
